Just before the Graduate School Examination!　Kyoto University Graduate School of Agriculture, Division of Applied Life Sciences Graduate School Entrance Examination (August 2024) Explanation and Consultation Session

Schedule for the day

Morning Session: Online Zoom (information will be sent to registered attendees)
10:00 – Department Chair Overview Explanation General Questions
10:30 – Online Interview 1 Using Zoom breakout room
11:00 a.m. – Online Interview 2 (may be continued from 1)
11:30 – Online Interview 3 (may be continued from 2)

Afternoon Session: No general group meeting; participants will visit the lab in person
2:00 p.m. – Individual Visit 1 (start and end approximate)
3:00 p.m. – Individual Visit 2 (approximate start and end)
4:00 p.m. – Individual Visit 3 (approximate start and end)

End approximately at 5:00 p.m.

(Purpose and outline of the meeting)

This is an excellent opportunity to discuss lab selection, lab visits, studying for exams, and more in an informal setting with the lead faculty member of each lab.

The morning session is an online information session and individual consultation via Zoom, and the afternoon session is a face-to-face individual visit.

Those who wish to attend are requested to pre-register in advance for preparation purposes.
Pre-registration for each is required by May 31, the day before the event.

For individual visits, please coordinate the time of your visit with the lead faculty member of each laboratory in advance.

It is acceptable to visit more than one lab.

Participation and visits by 2nd and 3rd year students as well as this year’s candidates are welcome.
